THE VIGUS REPORT: La enigmática banda de rock estrena su primera canción: 'Search the Sky' (21/12/2021)

La historia de THE VIGUS REPORT es algo enigmática y curiosa, tal como hemos ido contando, a lo largo de estas últimas semanas, en nuestras redes sociales de Maldito Records.
A finales de noviembre, nos llegó una propuesta al buzón de la oficina, pero en este caso sin remitente, ni matasellos, sólo con una cinta de cassette y una pequeña nota. Al principio, no le dimos importancia, sólo pensamos que era una propuesta más entre el centenar que solemos recibir todos los meses, pero recibir la propuesta en una cinta de casette nos pareció muy original y sin duda despertó nuestra curiosidad. En la nota, en inglés, sólo había una frase que nos indicaba que pronto nos harían llegar un vídeo. Nuestra intriga cada vez era mayor.
A los pocos días que anunciamos la recepción de esta propuesta, apareció un vídeo de la banda en sus redes sociales con una puesta en escena y un mensaje muy de otro planeta. Sin duda, la presentación nos pareció diferente, pero lo que nos dejó sin palabras fue la calidad del único tema que había en la cinta de cassette.
Hoy, presentamos el videoclip de ‘Search The Sky’, el primer y único tema de THEVIGUS REPORT, que nos hicieron llegar, desde un email genérico, tal como nos advirtieron. Desde el principio, toda esta historia nos parece muy extraña y muy loca, pero sin duda, la calidad del proyecto creemos que es asombrosa, casi de otra galaxia. Y por descontado, su manera de presentarse en sociedad nos ha parecido muy creativa y divertida. De momento, desconocemos el origen y la procedencia de THE VIGUS REPORT, sinceramente nos da igual de dónde sean y quién esté detrás de este proyecto. Aunque, en ciertos momentos, nos gustaría pensar que realmente sí que son una banda de otro planeta, al menos, su primer single podemos certificar que sí que lo es.
The story of THE VIGUS REPORT is rather enigmatic and unusual, as we -Maldito Records- have been telling via our social media during the last few weeks.
At the end of last November, a message was submitted to our office mailbox. But, in this case, it came without any sender address or postmark. It came up with a cassette and a little note. At the beginning, we gave it no credit, we thought it was just one more submission, among the hundreds we tend to receive every month, but receiving the submission in a cassette seemed quite original and, certainly, it awoke our curiosity. In the note, which was written in English, there was just a sentence, indicating us that we would receive a video soon. We were increasingly intrigued.
A few days after we announced the reception of that submission, a video of the band appeared in their social media, and the staging and the message seemed to come from another planet. Certainly, their presentation looked different, but what really left us speechless was the astonishing quality of the only song that was in the cassette.
Today, we present their music video ‘Search the Sky’, the first and only song by THE VIGUS REPORT, which they send us from a generic email, just as they warned us. From the beginning, this story sounds quite weird and crazy but, certainly, we think the quality of the project is outstanding, almost from another galaxy and, of course, we found their way of presenting themselves in society very creative and fun. For the moment, we do not know their origins and precedence, but we sincerely do not care about where they come from and who is in charge of this project. We would like to think that they really come from another planet, but, at least, we can certify that their first single really does!
